Place Noord

Right next to Brussels North Station, on the former CCN site (future home of the NOR.Bruxsels project) a new public space is coming to life: Place Noord.
This temporary square invites you to slow down, meet and experience the city together.
Brussels North is a district in transition.
Over the next decade, more than 2,000 new homes will be added, reshaping the neighbourhood and its public life. To prepare for this transformation, spaces are needed where residents, commuters, workers, and visitors can comme together and connect.
Place Noord is one of those spaces.
Supported by Up4North and operated by Project North (founded by Play Label and Bruxselair), Place Noord opened in modest form on August 22 with a guinguette and seating designed for everyday use.
Over the coming year, the square will grow in phases adding workshops, games, sports, chill-out zones, and cultural events, step by step.
A playground for new uses. A shared space for the neighbourhood.
More information coming soon.
