KANAL-Centre Pompidou

KANAL-Centre Pompidou will open its doors on 28 November 2026 as Brussels’ first major museum for modern and contemporary art.
The renovated site will span multiple floors, featuring a permanent exhibition, seven temporary shows, and public amenities like a bakery, library, and kids’ playground.
The ground floor will remain fully open to the city—with a bookshop, museum café, and reading room accessible 7 days a week.
Designed as a cultural engine for the North District, KANAL-Centre Pompidou will offer both world-class exhibitions and a strong public focus.
